Citigroup Center, formerly known as Miami Center, is an 810,000 sq. ft. lifestyle-driven office tower in downtown Miami, Florida. As Florida’s second largest Class A office building, it offers premium amenities, 100% office space, and an unmatched tenant experience. Connectivity, hospitality-focused service, a waterfront location and sweeping views combine to create the ultimate workspace.
Although Citigroup Center is not the city’s tallest building, it is a symbol of early downtown. Built in 1983, it is older compared with most of the taller buildings in Miami, which have been built in the last decade. In addition, Citigroup Center is immediately adjacent to Bayfront Park and is unobstructed when looking at the skyline from Miami Beach to the east. The building is 484 feet tall and has 34 floors. It is located on Biscayne Boulevard and Southeast 3rd Street, to the east of the Central Business District, and is adjacent to the Southeast Financial Center and the Hotel Intercontinental. The Bayfront Park Metro Station is also located close to the building. Currently, the building is in the process of a $20 million makeover.
FMG Design was commissioned to develop an experiential graphics and wayfinding program for the exterior, interior and garage. This included the design of a multiple-tenant identification monument.
