As part of recent expansions, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital celebrated the completion of a new child care facility on its hospital campus in The Woodlands, Texas to continue to meet the needs of their growing staff.

Modeled on another Houston Methodist Hospital child care facility, the center is managed by Bright Horizons and provides on-site child care services for hospital staff.

The one-story, 14,600 sq. ft. facility includes six classrooms where children are divided by age group, as well as an office area and breakroom with a full kitchen for child care center staff. Beyond necessary spaces and functionality, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital also ensured that the new child care center would be as kid-friendly as possible. From the outdoor playground with a rubberized asphalt surface and subsurface drainage, to the surrounding green spaces, to the colorful finishes in shades of blue, green, and yellow. The child care center has an inviting, playful atmosphere where children can thrive.

The scope of services conducted by FMG Design included developing a comprehensive exterior, interior, and parking experiential graphics program including identification and regulatory graphics.
