The original Gaillard Municipal Auditorium’s theatre was built in 1968 as a multipurpose facility rented by promoters for various events in the Charleston area.

The Owner intends to design and renovate the existing structure with additional new construction as a municipal auditorium complex, consisting of a renovated Performance Hall to be one thousand eight hundred (1,800) seat multi-purpose auditorium, an expanded exhibit space for a 38,715 gross square foot exhibit hall and new city offices within a 80,880 gross square foot municipal office building, to be located on the site of the existing Gaillard Municipal Auditorium and Exhibit Hall on approximately four (4) acres of land at the north side of George Street between Arson and Alexander Streets in Charleston, South Carolina, totaling approximately 246,400 gross square feet of building area.
