When completed, Doctors’ Hospital will be the crowning achievement in Riverside’s commitment to serving Williamsburg and surrounding areas. Riverside Doctors’ Hospital will be a 2-story, approximately 100,000 square foot facility. The facility will sit on a beautifully landscaped campus at the intersection of Route 199 and Route 60. The campus is over 25 acres and is a component of the 380+ acre multi-use development named Quarterpath.

The project consists of a 250,000 square foot, 3-story building addition including services for surgery, PACU, pre-post-op procedural, central sterile, pharmacy, second floor med/surg and ICU/step-down beds, main entrance lobby and support services. The project also includes new elevator and stair core connecting the existing tower to the surgery expansion. Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital – Nassawadox, Virginia
The Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Health has approved the relocation of Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital (RSMH) to a site immediately behind Four Corners Plaza in Accomack County.
Work to initiate development of the proposed Accomack site has been ongoing for much 2011, with a preliminary expectation for construction to begin in the fall of 2012.
