The existing 1002 Washington Avenue building was constructed in the early 1920’s. The existing building is approximately 187,000 square feet with four (4) stories plus a basement on 2.45 acres of land bound by Washington Avenue to the South and Amtrack Rail and Station to the North and East.

The scope of services conducted for City of Houston Central Permitting Center by FMG encompassed a comprehensive environmental graphic design program for the relocation of the City of Houston ‘Central Permitting Center’ to 1002 Washington Avenue to consolidate its services under one roof providing a “One Stop Code Enforcement” location.
