Human Factors IW

Integrated wayfinding is the exploration and understanding of Human Factors (psychological and physical conditions) that affect a user. Each potential communication touchpoint should be an opportunity to deliver consistent, relevant wayfinding information. These touchpoints not only include environmental graphic design and placemaking, but also extend beyond signage to include campus, site, architectural and interior elements, printed materials, online applications, human interactions and electronic wayfinding tools.
